Many who marry at the Town Hall wish to have their marriage celebrated or blessed in a Church of their chosen denomination.
This can be effected either before or after being legally married in a Civil Marriage at the Town Hall but requires a certain level of preparation. Both the Catholic Church and the Protestant Temple are within walking distance of the Marriage Hall. You should note that a Catholic priest is only on the island from time to time & the Protestant pastor can have similar constraints.
Roderick Page – Founder of Wedding Bora Bora & of Bora Bora Insider Wedding Planner – can assist those seeking such a religious service. No fee is charged for this service, rather couples are encouraged to make a donation to the church concerned.
